Today I had my neurocognitive testing- WHEW!!! That was exhausting! It wasn't nearly as scary as I thought it would be, but I persevered. Even the doc complimented me for my ability to push through. It took longer than he thought it would (don't know if that's good or bad, but it is what it is). He said he sees how I get through my night- or day- I'm a fighter. Of course I AM! I was trained by Marion Hallock! I won't know the results until Monday, so now we wait. My brain is spinning, but I guess it should..
The heart is still thumping away- irregular as always. The metoprolol isn't really doing much, but I'm still taking it. I don't know if we're going to increase the dose, or change to a different med. It's frustrating... No new symptoms with it, just the fluttering, which is annoying.
I don't remember if I wrote about my TSH- I think I did. I started on my new dose- 150mcg. I've talked to a few docs who think my thyroid is just fighting an inflammatory response from my last bout of COVID and we need to be careful we don't flip to hyperthyroidism. Very real possibility.. Time will tell.
My joints and muscles are killing me. I'm back to struggling with steps and my joints feel so swollen. It's hard to make a fist- I really think I'm in an inflammatory state, but why? Also, I have boils again! It's been YEARS! So my HS is acting up... interesting...
Off to bed.. work tonight.
