Atrial bigemany

So, I've decided not to spellcheck my posts anymore. I'm a pretty intelligent person and I take pride in my ability to speak articulately and my spelling has always been on point. But when I'm having broken brain episodes and I'm blogging, I decided to leave the posts unedited so they portray how my brain was working on that particular day... like today, for instance.

Today is a brain swirl kind of day. I don't know why. Im exhausted and my brain is spinning . I can't focus- I have a cold sore and maybe Im getting sick. I worked yesterday on day shift on the APP car. We didn't have a horrific day. I am working a lot of hours, though. I worked yesterday and I'll work straight through until Tuesday when I finally get a day off. We had some storms come through Wednesday, I think, but I didn't get dizzy from those. That was odd because storms always make me dizzy.

I started on fluvoxamine, 50mg once a day. I can't remember if I wrote about it or not. It's another SSRI and I started it on May 17th. I'm tolerating this one really well. I did learn the hard way NOT to take it with my Tizanidine, however. I made that mistake one night and dropped my pressure so badly I thought I was going to die. The next morning I looked up the interactions and learned they don't play well toghter at all. So, since starting the fluvoxamine, I've had no ringing in the ears and the brain swirling has been better- until today. Today is a really bad day. It's a beautiful day, however. It's sunny, hot and humid. No rain. Speaking of hot- I don't tolerate hot well AT ALL. Is it the thyroid, or the SSRI? Could be both.. I do my best to drink a ton if I have to be outside in the heat.

SO, back to the headline- atrial bigemeny... I can't spell it for anything today.. I'm wearing a halter monitor until Monday because I've thrown PACs for years, but the past few months, I've been having long runs of PACS to the point of feeling dizzy (a different kind of dizzy), chest pain and a little sob. One night last week, it was really bad and I sent a strip from my watch to Dr. Gamelin. She got me in pretty quick and put me on the monitor for a week. Well, of course, my heart is behaving better than usual- but I am still having SOME issues, just not to the level I was. So, we'll see how this works out.
