The past week has been fantastic! The last time I had any heart palpitations was Saturday night, and that week they were horrible. I went to Vidant with them Wednesday (6/22/22) because they got so bad and I had chest pain. Unfortunately, after sitting there for over 5 hours, I had not received any care. I felt better and had to work the next morning, so I left AMA. My thought was that I would monitor my symptoms and watch the ERs and go to Wake Med if I was at work, or when I got off work because the rhythm was happening routinely between 8am-10am and again in the evening. So, Sunday morning I knew was a good time to go. I got off work, bought my breakfast and headed toward Wake Med with the anticipation that they would not be as busy as usual. I was right- but no palpitations... THANK GOD! But... I have not had any since- THANK GOD!
Here we are on 6/30, and they're back.. with a vengeance. I don't know what I've done differently. I don't know why they decided to come back. But here we are again in atrial bigemeny.
Also, I noticed I've not really experienced any brain swirling this past week.. interesting huh? Sure, I've been dropping words, but that's pretty normal.
I've got a cold. Sore throat, chest congestion, tickle in my chest, dizziness, nasal congestion but no fever. It's going around the house. Tony, Adrianna, Johnny, and me. We tested negative for COVID. Could this be causing the palpitations? Who knows. The decision is- do I go to work, or call out?
