SLUMS score is in...

Neurologic examination is unremarkable, and mental status examination shows some difficulty with attentiveness and short-term memory. I do not think this is a seizure problem. It is possible this represents some episodes of dementia, and it also certainly could be a manifestation of chronic anxiety, which she admits worsening, and can follow COVID-19. Primary differential is neurocognitive dysfunction in the setting of "long COVID-19 syndrome".
SLUMS examination is performed and she scores 23/30, missing 3 points on the calculation task, 2 points on short term recall, and 2 points on story recall. A score of 23/30 is in the range of "mild neurocognitive disorder".
SLUMS scores:

Scores of 27 to 30 are considered normal in a person with a high school education.

Scores between 21 and 26 suggest a mild neurocognitive disorder.

Scores between 0 and 20 indicate dementia.

I'm getting scared.
