So while I was talking to the nice girl who was wiring me up, we were talking about my journey this far. I was telling her about the COVID clinic and how they are referring me for neurocognitive testing, since Duke can't get me in until November. She asked where the clinic is.. UVC.... I kept insisting.. she asked where?? It told several corrections before I realized my mistake and fixed it to UNC. I am realizing I'm jumbling my words more these days.. don't really know why... sometimes I catch it, most times I babble.
This morning I went to get the leads off. I drove to Duke, parked the car, put the head cover on, my glasses and mask. I walked into the clinic and didn't realize until we were all done that I had put 2 masks on... guess I forgot I already had one on. The girl thought I just wanted double protection. I wish it was that simple.
